Laura Woods Announces Her Exit from talkSPORT

Laura Woods has just announced that she is leaving talkSPORT after becoming a figurehead for the channel over the 6 years of working for the show. A tearful Woods made her announcement live to listeners with Ally McCoist and Gabby Agbonlahor by her side.

Over her time as a presenter at talkSPORT, Laura Woods has become one of the prominent sports presenters in the UK, covering major events and winning numerous awards such as Best Sport Presenter along the way.

Laura fought back the tears as she shared her decision: “I know that I will never find another job like this. You never get this much time, this much fun and this much space to just be yourself. It has been the hardest decision of my life but I’ll always be a part of this family.”

It is though that she will be making a switch to work on BT Sports to replace Jake Humphrey as the lead presenter. During her time as talkSPORT host, she has become renowned for her expert sports knowledge and great interviews with athletes.
