The WSL summer transfer window closes Friday 13 September at 11pm.
Will Keira Walsh leave Barcelona?
The big question today is will Keira Walsh make a move back to the WSL? With one year remaining on her contract at Barcelona, she is rumoured to be keen to return to England for family reasons. Barcelona paid a record fee for Walsh at the time and it would be bad business to let her go for free.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal are linked with a move for the Lioness. Chelsea are said to have been prepared to go all out for Bonmati before she agreed a contract renewal at Barca. So, they are clearly looking for midfield improvements of a world class level and have the finances to go for Walsh. Arsenal may see if they can capture her on a free next year. Aston Villa Announce Nunes
Aston Villa have announced a deadline day signing, bringing Brazilian international forward Gabi Nunes. She moves from Levante for a fee thought to be £250,000. Last season she scored 11 goals in 28 Primera Division games and recently helped Brazil to a bronze medal in the Olympics.

Hayley Raso Returns to WSL
Former Manchester City player Hayley Raso has left Real Madrid to join Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL. Meanwhile, Rosella Ayane has departed Spurs with a move to the NWSL, joining Chicago Red Stars. Spurs also recently signed Raso’s Australia team mate Clare Hunt.
Piemonte Leaves Everton
Italy international Martina Piemonte has left Merseyside to return to Serie A, putting pen to paper with Lazio.
Barca Starlet Vilamala Joins Brighton on Loan
Brighton and Hove Albion have been very proactive in the summer transfer market. Having already obtained the services of Fran Kirby, Barcelona youngster Bruna Vilamala joins the club on loan, with Jelena Cankovic also bolstering the ranks.
